The Uba house, built in 1864 by Luisa's great-great-grandfather José Maria de Castro, is located in an area where, 150 years ago, grapes were grown to produce wine.

The guest house underwent rehabilitation works in 2021. The priority was the preservation of the building and its charming features, whilst adding elements of comfort.


Na Uba vêem-se as marcas do tempo, ouve-se o ranger do soalho, sente-se a tradição portuense.

Este alojamento de charme situa-se no centro do Porto e oferece 3 suites com WC privativo e kitchenette, cuidadosamente decoradas com peças únicas do espólio familiar. As suites situam-se no 1° e 2° andar sem elevador.

Cada suite homenageia uma casta de vinho portuguesa.

A UBA é a habitação permanente da anfitriã Luísa e da Avó Lai que o farão sentir-se em casa.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, ruhig gelegen ☺Wunderschöne Wohnung über 2 Etagen in einem historischen Stadthaus, etwa 20 Gehminuten von der Altstadt enfernt (schöner Weg). Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, eine stille Oase nach einem Tag im lebendigen Porto. Die liebevolle Einrichtung ist die perfekte Mischung aus neu und alt, habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Luisa ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat mich bei der Begrüßung mit zahlreichen Tipps und Infos versorgt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Immer wieder gerne! ☺Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Die Lage ist unschlagbar, innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß in der Fußgängerzone. Es war sehr ruhig und entspannend. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeberin Luisa war unglaublich freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und es gab viele Annehmlichkeiten wie einen Wasserkocher, eine Kaffeemaschine inklusive Kapseln und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. ☹Nichts, es war perfekt.
